Overview RF Safety Solutions, both through this web site and direct contact, provides advice on all types of RF safety products. This includes:
RF Safety Signs and Nardalert XT RF Personal Monitors are now available through RF Safety Solutions. RF Personal Monitors RF monitoring equipment falls into two categories: RF personal monitors and RF area monitors. RF personal monitors are far more popular but area monitors are ideal for certain applications. See Monitoring Equipment for information on design, selection, and use of monitors. RF Safety Solutions recommends the Nardalert XT series of RF personal monitors. Richard Strickland, founder of RF Safety Solutions, has an intimate knowledge of all the RF personal monitors on the market and headed the development of this state-of-the-art monitor. See RF Personal Monitors for complete details and applications. RF Safety Signs There is a great deal of confusion concerning the use of RF safety signs. RF Safety Solutions can help you select the appropriate signs for your application. See RF Safety Signs for our recommendations. Survey Instruments Survey instruments are used to measure the field strength at a particular location. In most designs there is a separate meter and a "probe". The probe is the sensor. See Survey Instruments for more information on design, selection, and use of survey instruments. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Think "RF Suit" or RF Protective Garment when you think of RF PPE. A personal monitor is designed to tell you where you cannot go (due to high RF fields)―RF protective suits are designed to allow you to work in areas with high RF fields when it is not practical to shut down the transmitter(s). See RF PPE for information on the use and cautions for RF protective garments. |
